Six members of Woolpit Drama Club performed a one-act play for members of the Visually Impaired Group at Pakenham Village Hall in January.

 

Tim Wheatley, John Lintin, Lesley Pearson, Jan and Nic Pearce and Richard Stainer [pictured L to R] performed a play called I Spy. Nic Pearce also made all the props for the sound effects in what was a radio-style presentation. Club Secretary Jan Pearce said:

 

“It was the first time that the club has done anything like this. It was extremely well received by everyone there

and we were asked if we would go back to perform for them again.”

 

Mary Jane Toulson, organiser of the Visually Impaired Group, asked Jan if she could give out her telephone number at the next West Suffolk Blind Association meeting as other local groups may also be interested.
